(Dr. Battaglia has served as Director for AKC, has served on several committees and AKC called upon his expertise in genetics to create and develop their DNA program. Dr. Battaglia has authored several books on dog breeding and has gained worldwide recognition, most notably for the program he developed "Breeding Better Dogs", which is considered an imperative foundation to any successful breeding program.)
